Halunen Law Pleased to Sponsor Inaugural Benefit Gala for Empower Leadership Academy

Founded in 2014 by Pam Borton, senior executive coach, keynote speaker, author, and former head coach of the Minnesota Gophers women’s basketball program, Empower believes that building leaders starts at a young age, and they are passionate about making an impact and a difference. The organization’s mission is to empower girls into the leaders of tomorrow, understanding that, like learning any skill, leadership and self-confidence take practice and preparation. Empower offers a safe and fun environment to learn, be inspired, and grow personally. The funds raised by the gala will be used in the community to help provide academies that feature community leaders facilitating engaging, fun and interactive workshops. Participants learn and build leadership skills, confidence, public speaking skills, self-esteem, resilience, and techniques for coping with bullying, pressure, and stress.
