Our Team

Brittany-Deane-Salyers-sizedAdvocate, attorney, and ally Brittany Deane Salyers is resolute in representing employees who experience illegal actions at work.

Brittany Deane Salyers’ dedication to employment law runs deep. Recognizing that work is a central factor in most people’s lives, she knows that unlawful treatment in a workplace can have devastating repercussions. Lives and livelihoods are immeasurably impacted. Brittany is committed to holding employers accountable. She has successfully represented labor and employment law clients at the state and federal levels in litigation, mediation, and complex legal negotiations. Having been a victim of harassment herself, she appreciates the courage it takes to take on an employer. She brings compassion, empathy, an acute understanding of the legal system, and fierce determination to defend what’s right.

For Brittany, becoming an attorney seemed inevitable. Her father, who was in the military, enrolled in law school later in life. She and her twin sister tagged along to night school and the law library as children, absorbing their father’s studies and the surroundings. She grew to love writing, debating, and mastering the art of a persuasive argument. After her undergraduate studies in Virginia, she ventured west to Wyoming for law school, where she focused on employment law. She has represented and advised clients in various matters, including Title VII discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, ADA, ADEA, wrongful termination, and retaliation, and matters involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Adding breadth to her experience representing employees, Brittany worked as an intellectual property analyst and represented clients in tort cases, including work with Minnesota farmers in the Midwest Corn Lawsuit against a giant agricultural company, which settled for $1.5 billion. She was also deeply involved in the successful revitalization of her alma mater, Sweet Briar College.

Besides her professional accomplishments, Brittany’s life is abundant with activity. She and her twin sister married twin brothers, and each couple has a son. They are a tight-knit family and have an active presence and strong following on social media and in the media at large. In addition, Brittany delves into gemology and creative writing, is an aspiring chocolatier, and is in perpetual pursuit of the next adventure to explore with her husband, son, and the rest of their family.
