Our Team

Attorney Amanda Olimb brings a deep understanding of employee rights and is ready to fight for her clients.

As a member of Halunen Law’s employment team, Amanda brings her decade of experience in the employee benefits space to fight for workers. An expert in ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, and the ACA, Amanda knows what employees deserve and the courage of those who challenge illegal actions. Amanda is excited to work with a team achieving justice for those who have blown the whistle or have experienced discrimination or retaliation.

During law school, Amanda was able to combine her love of travel with her legal education by studying abroad in Malta. Before graduating magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Amanda participated in mock trial and began developing her expertise in employee benefits. Now she is ready to use these skills to ensure fair treatment of employees in the workplace.

Amanda was born in Duluth, Minnesota and moved to the Twin Cities area with her family during high school. She is excited to be back in the Twin Cities after spending years in Fargo/Moorhead, where her husband, Kirk, coaches hockey. On the weekend they can be found at a local hockey game or restoring their 1912-era former hospital turned home on the Crow River.

She also gardens with native plant species that support local pollinators, picks up too many crafting projects, and occasionally whips out a fire baton.
