Impressive group of Halunen Law attorneys selected to Minnesota 2021 Super Lawyers and Rising Star Lists

Halunen Law is pleased to announce eleven attorneys from the firm (more than 75%) were recognized for their expertise, proven record, and professionalism and selected to the 2021 Minnesota Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. The lists are an acknowledgment by legal peers of the attorneys’ outstanding work representing employees, whistleblowers, and those who’ve suffered a personal injury. 2021 also marks the 19th consecutive year Halunen Law managing partner and founder Clayton Halunen has been selected to the prestigious list.

Susan Coler:  Selected to the Super Lawyers list, Partner and False Claims Act (FCA)/Whistleblower attorney Susan Coler represents whistleblowers across the United States in FCA cases, challenging fraud and kickbacks related to government spending for procurement, defense, small business, health care, and pharmaceuticals. As a Labor and Employment Law Specialist, Susan has brought successful retaliation claims connected with FCA/qui tam cases and stand-alone actions. She is energized and inspired daily by the courage of whistleblowers and their efforts to combat corporate fraud.

Christopher Moreland: A partner and chair of Halunen’s Employment and Appellate Practice Groups, Chris has decades of experience litigating cases on behalf of employees, persons who have experienced severe injuries, railroad workers, consumers, and other victims of corporate misconduct. His national practice includes substantial recoveries for his clients in state and federal courts across the country, as well as a significant appellate practice.

Brian Stofferahn: Firm partner and chair of the Personal Injury Practice Group, Brian came to Halunen with extensive experience, representing individuals in personal injury cases, employee workers’ compensation claims, and social security disability matters. He spent 18 years as in-house counsel for an insurance company then returned to his real passion, representing those who have been wrongfully injured. Brian has tried approximately 100 cases to jury verdicts. His thoughtful, thorough approach and proven record working with highly complex personal injury claims have brought meaningful financial and personal rewards to those he represents.

He has represented whistleblowers in complex healthcare fraud, pharmaceutical fraud, defense contracting fraud, and small business fraud cases. Ross Stadheim: Resolute, tenacious and results-oriented, Ross is a partner and employment attorney.
