Alleged Rotting Vinyl-clad Andersen Windows
Halunen & Associates is investigating a possible class action lawsuit for alleged faulty tilt wash/double hung vinyl-clad windows built by Andersen Windows. These windows allegedly have a substandard design, are prematurely failing, and are not living up to warranty claims. They are believed to be rotting, leaking, and growing mushrooms and other fungus. The rotting is believed to be occurring to the wood encased in the vinyl, so homeowners should closely inspect their windows for problems. Homeowners may be able to detect the rotting by pressing on the vinyl to feel if the wood is soft or spongy.
We are currently attempting to gather information for this case. If you or anyone you know has had problems with Andersen windows, please do not hesitate to contact our offices by emailing kitzer@halunenlaw.com, or fill out a contact form. We will be happy to help review your situation with a free initial consultation.
