Becoming a Class Representative for CertainTeed Class Action
In addition to seeking information about the many class members we will be representing, we may also be seeking class representatives to work closely with our firm on this case. A class representative is someone who will participate at a more involved level than other class members. As a class representative, you would need to keep abreast of developments in the case, to consult with attorneys concerning management of the case as necessary, and participate in the collection of evidence requested from the defendant. The time commitment for these obligations would not be significant. At the end of the case, we would seek to have you paid, as a class representative, a small premium based upon the reasonable value of your time, should there be a recovery. Courts are generally willing to grant such payments in recognition of the class representatives’ efforts.
