Michelle Dye Neumann is passionate about trying cases on behalf of employees. In her more than fifteen years of practice, she has tried to a jury, and won, more than a dozen cases in Minnesota, Missouri, Florida and Alabama and has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts for employees who have experienced discrimination, harassment, worker's comp retaliation and other violations of state and federal employment laws. Among her recent successes is a jury verdict of $361,000 for a truck driver who experienced retaliation for filing a worker's compensation claim.
Ms. Neumann has argued before various state and federal appellate courts, including a successful case before the Missouri Supreme Court that established a new right to whistleblower protection for contract employees in that state. A number of her appellate decisions established new law and broadened legal protections for employees in employment discrimination cases.
Ms. Neumann is a Labor and Employment Law Specialist, certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is a member of the Minnesota Women Lawyers, as well as the National Employment Lawyers Association and its Minnesota chapter, where she recently spoke on "Lessons Learned from Trying Cases."
